“She died at 40, after being mocked all her life. My mother had a disability, a mental deficiency. She was cheerful and kind. She was a little girl, there was no evil or wickedness in her. The children of my small village have often been cruel to me. I was often told: “your mother is crazy”recalled Nicoletta to Gala.fr. I still sometimes have the feeling of having abandoned it to pursue my career. I am very religious. At times, when I’m not feeling good about myself, I feel like my mom is protecting me. I was born of a being who could do no harm to anyone. It is a chance. It’s a legacy.”
