Nicole Kidman takes us behind the scenes of her new series

The first two episodes of the miniseries Expatriates starring Nicole Kidman were released on January 26 on Amazon Prime Video. The actress takes us behind the scenes of the moving series with a few photos published on Instagram.

Series Expatriates takes place in Hong Kong and tells the story of a close-knit expat community that includes several women. The plot revolves around a family tragedy that will change their lives forever, especially that of Margaret (Nicole Kidman). Imagine one of the worst things that can happen to a mother…

“Come behind the scenes as we celebrate the creation ofExpats with this phenomenal cast and crew,” the 56-year-old star wrote on Instagram under a carousel of set photos.

She is seen with the young actors who play her children in the series on the streets of Hong Kong with members of the technical crew and on set during and between scenes, and she is also seen hugging the American-Japanese actor Brian Tee, who plays the role of her husband.

The six-episode miniseries from writer-director Lulu Wang also stars Ji-young Yoo, Sarayu Rao and Jack Huston.

It is based on the novel The Expatriates by Janice YK published in 2016.

The first two episodes ofExpats can be found on Amazon Prime Video. An episode will be posted there every week, on Friday.
