Nicolas Gob reveals a heavy secret: this disease from which he suffered and which he had never spoken of

From the movie Spangled Shrimpspassing through the series The Art of Crime, A French village or the TV movie Of honey and blood, Nicolas Gob has no shortage of projects. It is notably on view tonight in The Bridge of the Forgotten on France 3. On the other hand, it has not yet been to create a project. But it won’t be long, as he announced in an interview with TV Star unveiled on September 26.

“I’m going to make a movie”, he revealed, before explaining that he was inspired by his own story to write the screenplay. Which led him to make a revelation that he hadn’t talked about often until recently: I had cancer a long time ago and the story revolves around it“. In fact, he had already told this sad anecdote in an interview with The New Republic last April. He then expressed his desire to write his own projects.

Unforgettable encounters

“I’ve been doing it for a few years with screenwriter Sophie Eickhoff. What’s complicated is that billions of ideas come to me and I’m having trouble sorting them out right now.. I had cancer when I was younger and there are a lot of things that naturally lead to that. And then I’m very taken by the game: it brings me great satisfaction. It’s a place where I’m in control, where I feel like I have my place and a role to play. I’m living in the moment and I feel so good”, he confessed.

He also took the opportunity to explain his relationship to the small screen: “With TV, you have to go very quickly, we are gaming machines and you have to quickly find the right intention. Women like Audrey Fleurot or Pascale Arbillot are real war machines and when we play together, we’re really there, it’s solid, we give the best. I take pride in having met people like them. Otherwise, I don’t really have any friends in the business. The parties, the oversized egos, it bothers me a lot, it’s not my delirium at all”.

Note that on the sidelines of his acting career, he has been married since the year 2021 to his darling Jane, with whom he is the father of Marlon (3 years old). He also has a daughter named Lily-Rose (11 years old), from a previous relationship.
