A couple hand in hand, happy and in love! Rather discreet in general, Nicolas Cage and his wife Riko Shibata went together to the preview of the film A talent in solid gold in New York this Sunday. Very accomplices, they posed together in front of the photographers and had chosen rather unusual outfits!
Indeed, Nicolas Cage wore a gray velvet suit which sparkled with a thousand lights under the light of the flashes and was to dazzle his partners. As for the 26-year-old Japanese girl, she had chosen a black floral kimono, with a light belt that perfectly concealed her shape as a future mother. Both will indeed welcome their first child in a few months, an event which the actor had agreed to talk about in the last issue of GQ.
Calling the baby “small bean“on the first ultrasound, he had revealed the potential first names:”Akira Francesco if it’s a girl, Lennon Augie if it’s a boy“. Two first names with a story referring to the actor’s father, who is rather used to unusual first names: his two eldest sons are named Weston (31 years old) and Kal-El (16 years old)!
The eldest is also the father himself since 2014, of a little boy named Lucian. This one is therefore about to see the birth of an uncle or an aunt much younger than him! In any case, the love lasts between Nicolas Cage and his wife, who met in 2019 in Japan. Separated by the pandemic, they did not see each other for a very long time and even got engaged in FaceTime with a ring sent by post!
Fortunately, everything seems to be going for the best, despite the quite significant difference in culture and age (58 years old for the actor, 26 for his young wife). During the preview, they were able to pose with the other actors of the film including Neil Patrick Harris and Lily Sheen. The latter, in a green dress with bare shoulders, was absolutely sublime!
Daughter of Michael Sheen and her ex, Kate Beckinsale, the 22-year-old made her film debut, but she was well accompanied for the red carpet. The actor of the series How I Met your Mothermeanwhile, looked dapper in his classic black suit and left husband David Burtka and their two children Harper and Gideon at home.
