While Marine Le Pen lacks sponsorship for the 2022 presidential election, other tensions are building up within the National Rally. A probable mole comes to aggravate the situation. Nicolas Bay, the MEP and spokesperson for the RN is accused of sabotage.
On the tail side, Nicolas Bay is a lieutenant of the National Rally. He joined the party 30 years ago and is one of Marine Le Pen’s campaign spokespersons. But on the face side, Nicolas Bay would also be an indicator for Éric Zemmour. The RN confirms this information and published in a press release: “We have had confirmation that Nicolas Bay, taking advantage of his presence in the highest instances of the campaign, has been transmitting strategic and confidential elements to our direct competitor Éric Zemmour for months”.
A few hours before excluding Nicolas Bay, Marine Le Pen mentioned the situation: “Obtaining information about this campaign and incidentally in some cases passing it on to a political competitor, I consider that to be high treason”, said the RN candidate. For his part, Nicolas Bay ensures that “nothing is justified”. But it’s an open secret, the MEP will soon join Éric Zemmour.
