Nicko, the rapper cook from Vendée shares his positive flow in his third album

He handles both kitchen utensils and turntables, Nicko marvelously combines the art of gastronomy and rhetoric. Based in Luçon in Vendée, the young 25-year-old rapper has accumulated positive comments on his YouTube channel since the release of his third album in September 2021. And that’s good, because with Tomorrow everything will stop, Nicko intends to deliver a resolutely optimistic message.

Far from the bling-bling image of American rap and the violence of the words, Nicko prefers poetry and words to distill his messages. “I didn’t want to make up stories, there are no Ferraris, no weapons, no drugs. I don’t want to talk about this, it’s not my experience and that’s not the message I’m trying to convey. I stayed as authentic as possible”, says the rapper.

Inspired by the greatest French rap composers, such as Iam, Oxmo Puccino or even NTM, his latest album is full of nuggets. “We wanted to work on different current topics, but also on our personal lives and I called on several artists to have different vocal signatures, because the important thing is to share”, says Nicko.

The melodies of this new opus are signed Beateljouss, beatmaker from Rennes and the disc was recorded in the studio SLM Recordz in Les Sables-d’Olonne. A record that smells of the great west and landscapes as far as the eye can see. “I’ll take life as it comes, anyway tomorrow everything will stop”, he sings in the clip shot on the Vendée coast, in the company of Charnel Musique.

Nicko’s new album is available on all streaming platforms and or in the form of a disc, to be ordered on its official accounts. He is now waiting to be able to find the stage and his audience.
