It’s hard to remember an Australian Open as incredible as this year. The Grand Slam tournament which welcomes the best players in the world every year has been particularly talked about since the beginning of January. The world number 1, Novak Djokovic, was finally unable to stay in Melbourne after several days of an unprecedented legal and media imbroglio. The tournament having started ten days ago, the best players in the world are there, but several of them have already made headlines. Denis Shapovalov for example got angry with the attitude of Rafael Nadal while our little Frenchman Benoît Paire had a very nice gesture towards a supporter.
Eliminated from the men’s singles tournament, Nick Kyrgios, used to being talked about, continues his career in doubles with fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis. A favorite of the public, the 26-year-old tennis player does not hesitate to put on a show and sometimes things go wrong, as was the case during his last match. After a failed first serve by his teammate, the latter violently spiked the ball which went like a rocket into the stands. Lack of luck, a child violently received it in the face. After a reaction from the crowd, we see the young boy crying, the ball in his hands.
Realizing his mistake, Nick Kyrgios regrets his gesture and faced with the crowd which begins to boo him, he decides to be forgiven. straying from the court, he will quickly take one of his rackets to bring it to the crying young fan. An attitude welcomed by the spectators and the young boy quickly found a smile! As we can see, at the end of the match, won by the two Australians, the child posed happily with the champion’s racket in his hands.
