Nick Carter would be prosecuted for sexual assault

Nick Carter, a member of the famous group Backstreet Boys, would be prosecuted for sexual assault, according to documents obtained by the site TMZ.

The alleged events allegedly occurred in 2001 and involved a woman who was 17 at the time.

The singer’s entourage assures TMZ that the incident never happened.

According to the documents, Shannon Ruth was asked by Nick Carter to board the band’s tour bus after a concert in Tacoma, Washington.

The teenager, suffering from autism and cerebral palsy, would have been offered a “VIP juice” by the singer. She thought it tasted strange, but would have drunk it out of politeness, according to the documents.

Now an adult, Shannon Ruth believes he served her a mixture of cranberry juice and alcohol, reports TMZ.

The documents then describe the sexual assault of which the teenager would have been the victim.

The singer allegedly brought him into the bus toilet and asked him to perform oral sex on him, then continued the assault in a bed.

Documents seen by TMZ mention that doctors say the teenager contracted HPV after the events. She claims she was a virgin before the alleged assault.

A source close to the singer refuted the accusations.

“This accusation is completely false, Nick is focused on his family and mourning the death of his brother,” the source told TMZ.
