Nice Christmas present for a Canadiens prospect

Montreal Canadiens prospect Frederik Dichow was recalled by Rögle BK from Ängelholm, in SHL, on Saturday.

The 20-year-old goaltender is enjoying a very early start in the Swedish Second Division with a 10-5-0 record, a 2.02 goals-against average and a .932 save rate.

The 6-foot-5 Dane was drafted in the fifth round (138th overall) by the Habs in 2019.

At Rögle BK, Dichow will be alongside Quebec defender Éric Gélinas, who played in the organization of the Canadiens in 2017-2018.
