After Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary, Tyler Toffoli is heading to New Jersey.
The Calgary Flames announced they traded the 31-year-old forward to the Devils for Yegor Sharangovich and a third-round pick in the 2023 draft on Tuesday night.
Toffoli is entering the final year of his four-year, $17 million contract. The former Canadian just had his best career offensive season with 73 points, including 34 goals, in 82 games.
For his part, Sharangovich will become a restricted free agent on 1er July. The 25-year-old forward, former No. 5 picke tour in 2018, just finished his third season in the NHL with 30 points in 75 games.
