This could mean that a member of the Habs’ defensive squad is in bad shape. In Friday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks, Kaiden Guhle appeared to hurt his shoulder after a hard contact.
Allard could therefore play a first match with CH on Sunday, against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Quebecer was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings, before the trade deadline, in return for forward Nate Schnarr.
Allard played only one National Hockey League game, in 2020-21, with the Nashville Predators.
