There would be a new leader at the helm of the NHL Players Association.
According to various media, Marty Walsh would become the new leader of the National Hockey League Players Association.
Walsh, a member of US President Joe Biden’s cabinet, would be the chosen one to succeed Don Fehr. The announcement of this appointment would be imminent.
From 2014 to 2021, Walsh served as mayor of the City of Boston, before becoming US Secretary of Labor.
The NHL Players Association has yet to confirm the news.
