The Penguins posted videos and photos of the prank on their Twitter account.

On leaving the team’s training center, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, in Cranberry, a suburb of Pittsburgh, we see the 23-year-old Quebecer come across fullback Chad Ruhwedel, who tells him that his vehicle was filled with polystyrene cushioning beads, often used to protect objects in transport.

Joseph then walks towards his car and discovers that it is invaded by wedging balls. Discouraged, he opens a door and the small white objects tumble out, covering his feet.

Teammates filmed the scene, laughing and making fun of the former defender of the Charlottetown Islanders and the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

“But what have I done to people? asks Joseph.

In a photo released by the Penguins, defenseman Kristopher Letang seems to find the joke very funny.
