Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki was named to the Eastern squad for the NHL All-Star meeting in Toronto on February 3.
Suzuki leads the Canadian with 12 goals and 22 assists this season, in 37 games.
The 24-year-old Ontario native has an average ice time of 21:02 per game, the highest of any Canadiens forward.
Suzuki was also an All-Star in 2020, as a rookie, as well as in 2022 and 2023.
Also in the Eastern group is Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs, the league leader with 30 goals this season.
Sidney Crosby (Penguins), David Pastrnak (Bruins), Sebastian Aho (Hurricanes), Matthew Barzal (Islanders), Rasmus Dahlin (Sabres), Alex DeBrincat (Red Wings), Jack Hughes (Devils), Boone Jenner (Blue Jackets), Travis Konecny (Flyers), Nikita Kucherov (Lightning), Sam Reinhart (Panthers), Igor Shesterkin (Rangers), Brady Tkachuk (Senators) and Tom Wilson (Capitals) will complete the Eastern brigade.
The West will bet, among others, on Connor Bedard and Connor McDavid, from the Blackhawks and Oilers respectively.
Nathan MacKinnon (Avalanche), Oliver Bjorkstrand (Kraken), Jack Eichel (Golden Knights), Filip Forsberg (Predators), Quinn Hughes (Canucks), Kirill Kaprizoz (Wild), Tomas Hertl (Sharks), Connor Hellebuyck (Jets), Clayton Keller (Coyotes), Elias Lindholm (Flames), Jake Oettinger (Stars), Cam Talbot (Kings), Robert Thomas (Blues) and Frank Vatrano (Ducks) will also be part of the lineup.
The NHL announced a total of 32 star players Thursday evening.
The 12 other players who will be at the All-Star meeting will be chosen by a vote of the fans, between now and January 11.
