NHL | Ingram, Barzal and Hughes, stars of the week

(New York) Arizona Coyotes goaltender Connor Ingram, New York Islanders center Mathew Barzal and New Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes are the three NHL stars of the week .


Ingram went 3-0-0 with a 1.63 goals-against average and .947 save percentage to help the Coyotes extend their winning streak to four.

The 26-year-old started every game for the Coyotes last week, and finished with a 1.23 GAA, .961 save percentage and one shutout. The Coyotes moved into playoff contention in the Western Conference during this period.

For his part, Barzal amassed seven points (2-5) in two games for the Islanders, who won two of their three meetings last week.

As for Hughes, he dominated the Devils with seven points (3-4), and the New Jersey team concluded the week with a 2-1-0 record. He also became the player who reached the 30-point mark the fastest in franchise history, after scoring in a 6-3 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Friday.
