(Vancouver) The National Hockey League said it is keeping tabs on legal proceedings involving Vancouver Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini, who has denied accusations by his ex-wife, Tali’ah, of violence against their children.

The couple divorced in 2013 and are embroiled in a dispute over child support and school fees for their four grown children.
“It is apparent that the parties are involved in a contentious divorce,” the NHL said in a statement.
“Mr. Aquilini has informed us that he categorically denies the allegations. We plan to continue to monitor the situation and will respond, if necessary, as the situation evolves.”
In an email sent by Aquilini’s rep, Gary Ross, the Canucks owner “categorically denies and is outraged by the accusations made by his ex-spouse Tali’ah in family court today that he committed acts of violence against his children.
He was referring to statements by lawyers for Tali’ah Aquilini in a Vancouver court on Tuesday.
