In all likelihood, the Calgary Flames have traded forward Elias Lindholm to the Vancouver Canucks.
The news has not yet been confirmed by the teams involved, but several media outlets reported Wednesday evening that the transaction would be confirmed shortly. However, it is still unclear what the Flames will receive in return.
Lindholm, who has been playing in Calgary since the 2018-2019 season, has 9 goals and 23 assists in 49 games this season. The 29-year-old center is currently in the final year of a six-year, $29.1 million contract.
