NHL Draft | Ville Husso moves from the Blues to the Red Wings

The St. Louis Blues announced they had traded 27-year-old goaltender Ville Husso to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday morning, an hour before day two of the NHL Draft begins.

In return, the Red Wings give up their 2022 third-round pick.

Husso served as the second goaltender for the Blues this season. He still kept goal for 40 games, maintaining a 2.56 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.

The Red Wings have yet to announce a contract extension for the Finn, who will become a free agent on July 13.
