This means that Jones will be absent on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, as well as during the duels against the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots. The Titans will then be given a week off before resuming action on Dec. 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That’s when Jones will be eligible for a return to the pitch.
Acquired from the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL’s most recent offseason, Jones has already missed three games this season with thigh discomfort. In six games, he caught 21 balls for 336 yards, but didn’t register a single touchdown.
