It was Mike Garafolo, a reporter for the US NFL Network, who reported the news on Twitter early Thursday morning. They also asked to be able to speak to Brandon Brown, Raîche’s colleague and director of player personnel for the Eagles.

The 33-year-old Quebecer has held this role with the Eagles since last year, but she still has a lot of background in the world of football.

A lawyer by training, Raîche joined the Eagles in 2019 as the Football Operations and Player Staff Coordinator.

Previously, she worked in the CFL for the Montreal Alouettes from 2015 to 2017. First as an intern, then as football administration coordinator, then as assistant general manager.

In 2018, she was hired by the Toronto Argonauts as Director of Administration.

Then in 2019, before landing in the NFL, made a stint in the XFL, in Tampa Bay, as director of football operations.

There she is, now considered for one of the most prestigious positions in the NFL.

The Vikings on Monday fired their head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman after eight seasons in office.
