While comfortably ahead 20-3 at halftime, the Eagles (11-4) subsequently shot themselves in the foot several times.

Jalen Hurts, who scored his team’s first touchdown in the very first moments of the game, was the victim of an interception with three seconds left in the third quarter. Adoree’ Jackson was the one who grabbed the ball, before running 76 yards to reach the end zone of his opponents. He thus reduced the score to 20 to 18.
The awakening of the Giants (5-10) also came when quarterback Tommy DeVito was replaced by Tyrod Taylor, a few moments after the start of the second half. The first city had a complicated afternoon, completing nine passes out of 16 attempts for gains of 55 yards.
However, it was very different for Taylor, who notably served Darius Slayton 69 yards for a touchdown which brought his team to just five points (30 to 25) behind Philadelphia during the fourth quarter.
Jake Elliott, the Eagles’ kicker, took responsibility during the game, scoring 12 points with his kicks. He also definitively buried the hopes of a comeback for his rivals, sending the ball between the posts thanks to a 43-yard field goal with 1 min 10 s left in the match.
DeVonta Smith and D’Andre Swift were the other Eagles players to stand out with a major each. In addition to Jackson and Slayton, Saquon Barkley also provided the response for the New York team.
