Neymar will be out ‘three to four months’ after ankle surgery

(Paris) The Brazilian striker of PSG Neymar will have surgery “in the coming days” on his right ankle in Doha and will be absent from the field for “three to four months”, the Parisian club announced on Monday.


Neymar, who was injured on February 19 against Lille in Ligue 1, “has had several episodes of right ankle instability in recent years” and “Paris Saint-Germain medical staff recommended ligament repair surgery, in order to avoid a major risk of recidivism”, specified the club of the capital, which estimates the period of unavailability at “three to four months”.
