Every week, the “Hi news!” podcast. tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of Franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. The children speak throughout the show: to comment on current events, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell jokes! To co-present this week’s episode, “Hi News!” welcomes Cerise, 7 years old, who lives in Coulommiers, near Toulouse.

This week, the program first returns to the war between Israel and Hamas, while the Israeli army has been bombing the town of Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, since Monday May 6. “Hey news!” explains to the children the situation there.

The show then heads to India, where elections are held from April 19 to June 1. In total, nearly a billion Indians are called to vote. “Oh lala, a billion is a lot !”, reacts our listener of the week, Cerise, 7 years old. Finally, the episode returns to the story of Rakus, an orangutan who lives on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The animal made a bandage on its own. But how ? Answer in this show !

This week, we’re also talking about music! A star is visiting for a series of concerts in Paris, France: it’s Taylor Swift. The pop singer fills stadiums and concert halls around the world… So, at “Salut l’Info!”, we wanted to understand the reasons for her worldwide success.

In this week’s “We tell each other everything” section, our listener Adam, 8 years old, calls on the show to solve a problem: his little brother takes all his toys and it annoys him. Don’t panic, with the help of a psychologist, this episode gives him lots of advice on how to cope better with the situation. And to take our minds off things, we listen to our listeners’ favorite jokes, left on our answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. Finally, in the “Hi info!” Club, Cerise introduces us to her favorite mind-blowing song, signed by the Powerwolf group.
