Every week, the “Hi news!” podcast. tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of Franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. The children speak throughout the program: to comment on current events, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell jokes.
To co-present the episode of the week, presenter Estelle welcomes Timothée, 8 years old, who lives near Avignon in the south of France.
Children can participate in our show every week: to apply, simply leave a message on our answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. You must clearly specify the child’s first name, age and parents’ telephone number.

What is hair discrimination?
The show also discusses the adoption by deputies of a law against hair discrimination. “It’s what ?” asks our listener of the week on the microphone. The presenter explains the subject to the children. This is the opportunity to listen to the testimony of Kenza, 26 years old, who has a lot to say on the subject and the discrimination experienced in relation to her curly hair.
For some, the holidays are starting soon! Board game, podcast, film or even comics… for the occasion, our journalist Agathe gives advice to children on how to not get bored during these two weeks of vacation.
I’m afraid my father is going to war
In our “We tell each other everything” section, the news also catches up with the children… Léa tells us that she is afraid of seeing her father have to “go to war one day”. With the help of a psychologist, the show gives him advice on how to better live with this fear.
Finally, we listen to three riddles left by the children on our answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. Questions, jokes, confidences: this answering machine is open seven days a week to collect messages from our young listeners.
To close this broadcast, the “Hi Info!” Club takes us from the south of France to the edge of space, with Timothée, who dreams of becoming an astronaut.
