On the night of Sunday February 12 to Monday February 13, seven people were found alive, according to the Turkish press. 21-day-old newborn Halit Ali Talha was found in Hatay province, Turkey, on Saturday after spending six days under the rubble of a building.

The child was found by Zafer, a firefighter who told BFMTV he heard “a sound that he could not identify because it was neither an adult nor a child’s voice”. The baby was taken to hospital and his life is not in danger. He was protected in the rubble by the body of his mother, who died after a building collapsed.
Other similar stories appear in recent hours in Turkey. For example, a 3-year-old child was saved in Kahramanmaras and a 40-year-old woman in Gaziantep.
