Covid-19 is back in France. The government has decided to bring forward the vaccination campaign by two weeks. It will begin on October 2.

Since August, contaminations have been increasing: +6.9% calls to SOS Médecins for suspected Covid-19 in mid-September, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Île-de-France. Tests are resuming in pharmacies.
The advanced vaccination campaign
In a pharmacy in the center of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), up to 30 people come to take a test every day. “As the people who come to be tested are mainly sick people, (…) we almost have a positivity rate of 60-70% behind”, explains Florian Duval, pharmacist. If the situation is not alarming, the vaccination campaign has been brought forward by two weeks. It is above all intended for the most vulnerable.
