In 2014, a new season of New star was broadcast on D8 (ancestor of the C8 channel). André Manoukian, the late Maurane, Olivier Bas and Sinclair made up the show’s jury and saw the talent of Mathieu Saikaly. Very quickly, the young man had established himself as one of the darlings of this edition and then necessarily represented a formidable candidate. It was he who won the tele-hook against the equally talented Yseult.
Since then, the one who was nicknamed “Le Farfadet” by André Manoukian has continued his little way in music. Today, however, it is much less recognizable. Indeed, eight years after his participation in New star, Mathieu Saikaly has dropped her curly brown hair and now opts for a short cut, platinum blonde color. On his social networks, where he is very active, the ex-winner regularly poses with his new look, seriously or with a lot of humor as he has always shown.
It is also with this new look that he recorded the clips of his latest songs from his EP, Neptune, released on June 3. This one is made up of five songs all composed and recorded by himself.
