This Wednesday, April 12, 2023, the BFMTV channel broadcast a shock report behind the scenes of French nurseries where mistreatment and abuse of children have been increasing for years. In the aftermath of this scandalous documentary, tongues are loosened and several former nursery assistants or directors talk about their working conditions.
Julie Fallon, a former manager of a private nursery was thus present on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” in order to indulge in her experience which turned into a nightmare. “I discovered in August 2021 that two of my employees were committing acts of violence against children. I had a team of four people and one of the employees decided to speak. She showed me videos, culprits who s had fun filming themselves doing this violence so I had all the evidence” she began before making a sordid story.
“Filming the fear in the child’s face”
“On the videos we see them calling the children ‘dirty whore’, ‘asshole’, ‘asshole’… We see one of the employees who picks up an 8-month-old child from above and drops her and catches her at the last moment and she’s actually having fun filming the fear in the kid’s face, they were locking the kids in the dark in the adult toilet, they were having fun throwing forks and knives at the ceiling, with the kids around …” she explains sadly.
The former nursery manager explains that the two employees confessed during their police custody to having already “shaken” children and that this whole situation amused them on a daily basis. In order not to get lost, these two young women also left the window open in order to hear their director’s car or the families arriving and thus change their behavior…
