Since reality TV has existed, everyone knows that the majority of programs are subject to different montages. In order to “create” stories and be able to keep viewers in suspense. However, this bothers some candidates. Especially those who participate for the first time in a program of its kind. Proof of this is with Alicia, visibly annoyed by a scene which took place this Monday, April 18 in Married at first sight.
As a reminder, the pretty blonde was the victim of a dramatic accident a few years ago in which she lost her sister and which could have cost her her motor skills. With great courage, the young woman managed to regain feeling and be able to walk. However, she keeps the aftermath of this drama with many scars on her back. An event that she still has trouble talking about and that she does not want to talk to her husband Bruno. That’s why, for their first night together, Alicia decides to turn off all the lights in order to hide her secret from her companion.
An assembly that does not please
Except that wouldn’t really be why she would have bothered to turn off all the lights in the room. “I want to clarify that it’s a montage. I’m in my pajamas so, in any case, Bruno will not see my scars. In fact, I turn off the lights, because I have OCD, I have need to sleep in complete darkness”reinstated the candidate of Married at first sight with our colleagues from TV Mag Le Figaro.
A montage on the part of the production which would therefore not reveal the truth. Just like the sequence between Émilie and Frédérik when they are in the car to take them to their photo shoot. Many viewers felt like they had a hard time chatting and that the tide wouldn’t have flowed. Once again, this would be a montage according to the principals concerned. “You didn’t see the whole scene. Believe me, we were on the same wavelength”replied Emilie to a surfer who had the impression that their complicity had “Hard to start”. Before Frédérik confirms his wife’s words: “Yes, too bad to have shown 3 minutes of exchange on the 1h30 of car really…”
