The convoy was early this Friday morning. Around 5 a.m., 47 firefighters from all over Lorraine have taken the direction of the southwest to come and relieve their colleagues to mobilize on the huge fires that are hitting the Gironde this summer. Among the contingent, 12 are from Meurthe-et-Moselle.
Make colleagues breathe
They will all be deployed on the Landiras front, one of the most affected municipalities. Where last weekend a first group of about twenty Meurthe-et-mosellans and Vosgiens had already taken up residence. The latter will do the opposite and should return to Lorraine this Saturday morning.
