Live from New Caledonia, journalist Martin Charmasson takes stock of the newly arrived caregivers from France as reinforcements.
Forty caregivers have arrived as reinforcements in New Caledonia, where the health situation linked to the coronavirus is still delicate. “This time it is 38 caregivers and logisticians from the army health service and the army medical regiment”, specifies the journalist Martin Charmasson, present on the spot.
And the reporter to detail: “They are deployed as part of Operation Resilience which began a year and a half ago.” On the program: logistics and health support missions. These personnel will be assigned to the territorial hospital center. Note that this military module is equipped with a ton of advanced equipment. It will make it possible to operate five more intensive care beds. Beds that arrive, however, while the health situation is improving, with a slight drop in the number of patients infected with Covid-19.
