Growing rapidly in Europe, the Montreal studio has sealed a partnership with Cultival, a tourist and cultural operator, to develop initiatives in France. The first of them, Aura Invalides, will be presented from autumn 2022 at the Musée de l’Armée, in the French capital. Every evening for ten years, visitors will be able to live an experience “combining play of light, video mapping and original orchestral music”.

“This extraordinary immersive show allows you to discover or rediscover the majestic and grandiose heritage of the dome of the Invalides by sublimating its architectural qualities and its history”, underlined Ariane James-Sarazin, general curator and deputy director of the Musée de l’Armée , in a press release.

About a hundred kilometers to the northeast, in Soissons, Moment Factory will also develop multimedia experiences “in order to showcase the city’s heritage”. The partnership with the town hall and ETC Audiovisuel spans at least three years.

Éric Fournier, partner and executive producer of Moment Factory, underlines that France “will act as a springboard” for the company – it has an office in Paris in particular – in the European market. The multimedia studio has already completed several projects in the Land of Lights: Regalia at the Notre-Dame cathedral and the Saint-Remi basilica in Reims, Alta Lumina at Les Gets ski resort or Oceana Lumina at L’Arsenal de Rochefort.
