After a thunderous chicane around the simultaneous exit, indoors and in streaming, of Black widow followed by a highly publicized reconciliation on September 30, Scarlett Johansson and Marvel Studios are working on a new project for the moment classified top secret.
This is what the big boss of Marvel, Kevin Feige, hinted Thursday night on the occasion of a tribute to the actress by the American Cinematheque in Beverly Hills.
“We are partners on an ultra-secret Marvel Studios project which is not linked to Black widow and for which Scarlett Johansson would be a producer, ”suggested Kevin Feige without elaborating on the details.
The latter was one of the many distinguished guests who came to attend the tribute to Mr.me Johnasson who is considered the actress with the longest association with Marvel through her character of Natasha Romanoff in Black Widow (8 films in 11 years).
Recall that last summer, the Disney Studios decided to launch the most recent opus of Black widow both indoors and in streaming, which had provoked the anger of the actress. This one, which had a right on a percentage of the receipts in room, estimated to be injured by several million dollars. She had initiated a lawsuit, the settlement of which was announced on September 30.
The amount of the deal between the two parties was not disclosed, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress was delighted with the positive impact that it could have in the future in contractual agreements between producers, broadcasters and actors.
The next project to which Mme Johansson is Associate’s Animated Film Sing 2 by Garth Jennings in which she lends her voice to the character of Ash. The film is due on December 22 in Canada.
