During her interview for News24, Charlene of Monaco also denounced the relentless media. “If there are a thousand photos of me at an event, they’ll pick one where I’m looking down or one where I’m not smiling, and then say I look awkward or unhappy. We have the impression that they are creating a certain narrative”, she had said. And to conclude: “Ultimately, these stories seem to be about baiting people online and putting food on someone’s table.”
