This latest feature from the Canadian director will have its world premiere at the 75and edition of the Cannes Film Festival (May 17-28) and will arrive in Quebec cinemas on June 3.
Starring Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux, Kristen Stewart and Scott Speedman, the film is presented as follows: “As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the human body is subject to new transformations and mutations. . With the complicity of his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), a famous performer, stages the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde shows. Timlin (Kristen Stewart), an investigator for the Office of the National Organ Registry, follows their practices closely. That’s when a mysterious group appears: they want to take advantage of Saul’s notoriety to reveal to the world the next stage of human evolution…”
