(Laval) Alimentation Couche-Tard announced on Monday that it had reached an agreement with Pic Quick to acquire 19 convenience stores and two non-operational properties in New Mexico for an undisclosed price.
The properties purchased by the Laval company are located mainly in the southern part of the United States, and represent a strategic addition to its existing network, she argued.
Couche-Tard’s executive vice president for North American operations said the acquisition would help the company leverage its “strong” network in that state.
He added that he was “very happy” to welcome the Pic Quick sites and their teams to the Circle K family in New Mexico.
Financial details of the acquisition, which closed last week, were not disclosed.
Couche-Tard operates more than 14,000 convenience stores in 26 countries and territories, and approximately 10,800 of these stores sell fuel.
