New images of Kate Middleton were published on Monday March 18, notably by the English tabloid The Sun and the American site TMZ. Videos and a photo show the Princess of Wales at a farmers’ market in Windsor, west London, with her husband Prince William.
According to British media, these images of the princess and the heir to the British throne were taken on Saturday in front of a local farmers’ market, not far from their family residence in the countryside. Kate had already been photographed last week in a car with William.
The princess’s state of health has fueled rumors and wild speculation for weeks. Kate had abdominal surgery in January. Buckingham Palace had warned that she would not return to public office before Easter. But the long absence of the princess, usually one of the most photographed women on the planet, has given rise to all kinds of theories.
The publication on March 10 of an official photo of the Princess of Wales, all smiles and surrounded by her children for Mother’s Day, was to respond to this. But the discovery of multiple alterations on this photo, its withdrawal by five of the biggest press agencies which had published it, and the apologies of Kate, who took responsibility by saying “try your hand at publishing”had the completely opposite effect.
