new format and international swimmers for the return of the event

The format was unique. Two days of meetings, five starts, big names in the discipline of open water swimming. Everything was planned for the weekend to be a success and it’s a full house. More than 290 swimmers responded to the Traversée du Lac des Vieilles Forges in Les Mazures in the Ardennes, on the weekend of July 23 and 24. After two years of absence, the return of the meeting in the green setting delighted the regulars as well as the laymen of the discipline, the locals as well as those from far away. Such a success that the organizer, Maxime Billaudel has already announced, the ninth edition of the Traversée will again be on two consecutive days.
