The summer period promises to be rich in new features on the Vrai platform, which has just unveiled eight new reality docuseries which will be installed there, from June until the end of August.
Stefano
Entrepreneur and restaurateur Stefano Faita opens the doors of his hectic daily life in this new series which will be on Vrai from June 6th. Supported by his mother Elena, with whom he wishes to spend more time, his wife Isabelle and his business partners, Stefano divides his time between his four restaurants, the expansion of his range of food products, home renovations and family time. Italy and little Italy, in Montreal, are of course at the heart of this story.
Victims of Pastor Guillot
Two victims of Baptist pastor Claude Guillot recount their journey to healing. They have suffered years of horror, at different times and in different contexts, but are now trying to lead their lives in their own way and to free themselves through speech. This documentary series will be available from June 20.
The dress
Two stylists, Emmanuelle Rochon and Craig Major, compete to find the perfect dress for a candidate in this new series which lands on Vrai on June 27. Beyond a personalized and tailor-made experience, the stylists will guide the participants in the choice of an outfit symbolizing a decisive moment in their life.
Police divers
These ultra-specialized police officers from the Sûreté du Québec explore the waterways, all over Quebec, in search of evidence or bodies in recovery mode, never in rescue mode. Available from July 4 on Vrai, this documentary series takes us into the daily life of the divers in this squad who risk their own lives to advance an investigation. They do not hesitate to dive into troubled, icy or tumultuous waters.
The race for blue gold
Quebec is at the center of the global water crisis with one of the largest freshwater reserves on the planet. But then can he come out a winner? Is this wealth slipping through our fingers? Quebec water is in the crosshairs of financial interests determined to exploit the flaws in the system to appropriate it.
Mama machine guns it
Available from August 1, this new documentary series focuses on the life of the famous robber Monica la mitraille. This captivating story is told by her son Gilles Tessier, who is conducting his own investigation to better understand who his mother really was. The heroic image left by the criminal in popular culture unfortunately had a completely different impact on the lives of her children. The series notably gives voice to his family, Claude Poirier and Luc Dionne, who wrote the screenplay for the 2004 film “Monica la mitraille”.
Dédé and Patrick: beyond the stars
This moving biographical documentary, available August 12, retraces the career and friendship of Dédé Fortin and Patrick Esposito di Napoli, of the group Les Colocs. It will take subscribers back to the teeming era of bars, studios, rock music and Quebec in the 1990s with nostalgia.

Double Life: when the truth catches up with us
After the success of the first season, Vrai renews its documentary series which follows the quest of people who have lived in secrecy. This second season, which will land on the platform on August 22, this time focuses on Caroline who follows in the footsteps of her military father and Sarah who puts an end to her double life.
