France is reorganizing its military aid to kyiv: the Ministry of the Armed Forces notably announces the upcoming delivery of six Caesar cannons.

France is strengthening its military support for Ukraine. Six new Caesar cannons, forty long-range Scalp missiles, several hundred bombs and around fifty air-to-ground missiles will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks. Noticeable acceleration on all types of artillery, including shells. “Between February 2022 and April 2023, we delivered 1,000 shells per month, since February 2023 it is 2,000 shells per month and from this month it will be 3,000 shells per month”specified the Minister of the Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu.

Relaunch the military aid effort

To strengthen kyiv’s capabilities against Russia, the Americans and Europeans have decided to launch an artillery coalition. A way to revive the effort in terms of military aid, which had a tendency to run out of steam. In recent months, countries like Norway, Sweden and Poland have provided more aid to Ukraine than France. During his press conference, Emmanuel Macron announced that he would travel to Ukraine next February.
