Music, art, sport: Converse has spotted future talents from several disciplines and invites them to strike a pose with the new creations of the season.
Some, like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, opted for a legendary model from the brand. The basketball player thus chose the Chuck 70 Vintage Canvas (€95). For spring 2023, their premium canvas comes in many sparkling shades.
Artist Tom Yeti prefers the CONS One Star Pro Suede (€85). These low sneakers are ideal for completing a casual look. The new Converse collection also welcomes a revisited model of the Star Player 76 (€75). Skateboarder and artist Sage Elsesser has fully appropriated this legend of the sportswear universe. This trainer designed for sport comes back in a thick canvas version to complete your streetwear looks.
Several options for an avant-garde style
Sobriety and audacity mingle in the new Converse creations. With its imposing, raised and textured sole, the Run Star Motion CX Platform (€130) won over singer Indigo de Souza. Black heel, white heart and honey tone on the front are combined with a black or white canvas vamp. Thanks to the CX foam midsole, the cushioning is optimal while remaining light. Multidisciplinary artist, Serwah Attafuah chose the Custom Run Star Hike By You (€140). On the way to entering, too, in the legend, this wedge shoe is back with a wide range of colors and prints for the canvas (14 options). Soft green, lilac, beige, dotted with unicorns or featuring a skull, all styles can be expressed. You also have the possibility to add the text of your choice for a completely personalized outfit.
DJ, singer and composer: the Brazilian Mc Tchelinho is a genius jack-of-all-trades! To accompany him on all his adventures, he can count on the Chuck 70 AT-CX Platform (€79.99 instead of €110). Made for outdoor running, this trainer is as technical as it is original. Raised midsole and CX foam combine to provide good cushioning. The classic line of the Chuck 70 is married to a notched outsole ensuring good grip. On the side, the rubber is sculpted and textured to give this creation its full personality. A durable Bosey toe reinforces the front.
A template to customize
Hailing from the UK, hip-hop duo A1 & J1 are also taking part in the campaign for the new Converse collection. To cultivate their style, the two artists chose the Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged 2.0 (€110). These notched platforms are paired with a cotton canvas upper with a mesh lining. They are available in white, black or in a fully customizable version. A creation tool allows you to choose the colors and prints to imagine your shoes. You can dress the inside and the outside of your sneakers as you wish, but also the tongue, the heel, the lining, the seams, the rubber, the print on the midsole or the laces.
