new complaint for rape against the former presenter of TF1

Patrick Poivre D’Arvor is again the subject of a complaint for rape. The magazine’s journalists Further investigation collected the testimony of a woman who claims to have been one of his victims. While she was a young journalist at TF1, she confides that she was attacked by the presenter one evening in February 1995. He would have invited her to his office. “He gets up, he walks around his huge office, he comes and sits next to me, he puts his hands on my shoulders and he kisses me. (…) My body was there, but I was no longer there. (…) He took off his pants and raped me,” she says.

A few days later, Patrick Poivre D’Arvor would have again tried to attack him. She has just lodged a complaint against the former star of French television. In recent months, 16 other women had already filed a complaint against him. The facts being prescribed, the investigation was closed. But the ex-journalist announced that he was going to file a complaint against these women for slanderous denunciation. His lawyer affirms that this is not the goal to silence them, but to prevent the “same lies” be repeated.
