Volodymyr Zelensky is gaining support in Germany. The Ukrainian president is traveling to Frankfurt on Friday, September 6, to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and attends a meeting of the contact group of Ukraine’s allies at Ramstein, a US air base not far from Frankfurt, which brings together defence ministers and military officials.
At the meeting, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced a new military aid package of $250 million for Ukraine (€225 million).
