(Toronto) Kevin Durant had 31 points and the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Toronto Raptors 116-103 on Sunday for a fifth straight victory.
James Harden had 28 points, including a long-range shot that gave the Nets a 106-96 cushion, with 4:28 remaining.
It was Harden’s first three-point shot in the game, after seven missed shots. He added two more three-pointers.
Harden also provided 10 rebounds and eight assists.
Blake Griffin scored 14 points, one more than reservist Patty Mills.
Griffin had four three-pointers, a game high.
The Nets changed the pace of the game by dominating 35-17 in the third quarter; at the half, Toronto led by seven points.
Pascal Siakam of the Raptors was in his first game this season, having recovered from shoulder surgery.

He delivered a good game with 15 points, four rebounds and two blocks.
Fred VanVleet led the Toronto club with 21 points, five more than OG Anunoby.
Scottie Barnes was discreet in attack (eight points), but he had five steals.
Suffering from inflammation in his right knee, Montrealer Khem Birch will be out for some time, the Raptors said before the game.
Coach Nick Nurse said after two or three days when the swelling should go down, his case should be looked at on a daily basis.
The Raptors (6-5) will play again Wednesday and Thursday, in Boston and Philadelphia.
Nurse’s club have an impeccable 4-0 road record.
