While the pandemic of Covid-19 returns to the Netherlands, the Dutch Prime Minister announced partial confinement on Friday, November 12, with severe health restrictions. Part of the population is unhappy.
The Dutch came to cry out their anger in The Hague after the announcement, Friday, November 12, of a new partial confinement which will come into force on Saturday evening in the Netherlands. They do not accept this return to health restrictions for at least three weeks. More than 16,000 new infections in 24 hours have been identified. The cases of Covid-19 exploded in the country, surpassing the 2020 record. 82% of the population is, however, entirely vaccinated.
In Austria, contaminations are also alarmingly high: 10,000 new cases every day. The government is considering confinement of people who are not vaccinated. In the country, 65% of residents received their two doses, a rate lower than the European average. In Vienna, the capital, faced with the explosion of cases, children aged 5 to 11 will begin to be vaccinated from Monday, November 15.
