(Montreal) It is the turn of the FIQ to request mediation in the negotiation of its collective agreement with the Government of Quebec.
Last Thursday, the inter-union common front, made up of the CSQ, the CSN, the FTQ and the APTS, did the same.
The Interprofessional Health Federation (FIQ), which represents 80,000 nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists and clinical perfusionists, explains that it has thus requested mediation in view of “the little progress at the negotiation table”.
The FIQ filed its demands on November 7. The Government of Quebec presented its offers on December 15.
The collective agreements in the public and parapublic sectors expired on March 31.
