Families heading to the United States during the school break must be patient to get through customs, with a waiting time of more than 1 hour 40 minutes Saturday morning in Saint-Bernard-de- Glue.
Many Quebecers take advantage of the school break to go to our neighbors to the South. At 9 a.m., the United States Customs website indicated that the wait at the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle post was 100 minutes for travelers. Two routes are currently open to get to the United States.
At the St-Armand/Philipsburg station, which connects the towns of Philipsburg, Quebec, to Highgate Springs, Vermont, the delay was shorter with a wait of 45 minutes. The quickest way to get to the United States is through customs in Stanstead, in Estrie, with no waiting time expected.
