The firefighters immediately intervened thanks to significant resources and managed to control the fire quickly but the fire still slightly injured the occupant of the apartment, she had to be hospitalized. Emergency services also evacuated all residents of the building.

This represents 95 people to evacuate. In this context, the mayor of Anglet, Claude Olive was called and went there. He also organized the evacuation of the inhabitants to the village hall of the town hall.
