Quebec reported 699 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as well as five additional deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 440,462 infections have been reported, and 11,565 of them have been shown to be fatal.
The health authorities have 203 people hospitalized because of the disease in Quebec, a drop of one. Of these, 46 are in intensive care, a stable number compared to the day before.
