Nearly 2,400 people applaud Éric Zemmour in Charvieu-Chavagneux in Isère

They came to see a man he often sees on television, a man “who will straighten France” or a man whose “politics are getting more and more interesting.” Nearly 2,400 people followed Eric Zemmour’s speech cFriday evening in the David Douille gymnasium in Charvieu-Chavagneux in Isère

The former journalist goes where invites him he said, and the mayor of the commune Gérard Dézempte took charge of doing it. An approach strongly criticized by the left and environmentalists with a press release in the days preceding the visit of Eric Zemmour, but the elected Republicans assumes it: if the polemicist is a candidate, he will most certainly vote for him.

All the decor of a political rally

At 6 p.m., the hall was full and the audience excited. Eric Zemmour’s book in hand, two young people from Lyon are impatiently waiting for him. “He’s someone who offers something different, who has a program that is quite interesting in our opinion, we all kinda hope for an application” says one of them who will vote for the first time in 2022.

A discourse on the state and its institutions

For an hour, Éric Zemmour speaks on the theme of the state and its institutions, gangrened according to him by ideologies. “We must no longer hand over our state and our civil servants, and our teachers, and our children, to minorities who undertake against stumbling block to teach them what to think, say, feel” he exclaims. He talks about feminist, anti-racist, LGBT lobbies and leftist ideologies.

The public approves, sometimes with a loud cry of approval sometimes long applauses. With this meeting in “Lyon region”, not once has he mentioned Isère, Éric Zemmour has found “a warm audience” and convinced. During the few exchanges that followed the speech, almost all the speakers greeted “courage” of this man who is already the candidate of many members of the public, even before running for the presidential election.
